Peter A. Hass
Peter A. Hass is the Managing Partner and has over 30 years of experience concentrated primarily in estate planning, estate administration, including probate and trust administration.
Mr. Hass is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell, which is the highest rating for skill and ethics attainable. Attorneys are rated by their peers and judges to obtain the rating in Martindale Hubbell. He is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz (B.A. Political Science) and the University of San Francisco School of Law (J.D.). Over the years, Mr. Hass has served: as President of Richmond Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of Directors, as President of Richmond Art Center, on the Board of Directors of the Contra Costa Bar Association, and various other non-profit boards.
Ann Penland Callan
Ann Penland Callan (Pen) is a San Francisco-based attorney whose practice emphasizes estate planning, trust administration and probate estate administration. She is of counsel to the law firm Watson, Hoffe & Hass in Richmond, California. She previously worked at the San Francisco law firms Bronson, Bronson & McKinnon and Evans, Latham and Campisi, in the areas of commercial, real estate, and probate litigation.
She has served on the Board of Trustees of The Thacher School, Town School for Boys and Lone Mountain Children’s Center. She also served on the Board of Directors of Legal Services for Children in San Francisco. Pen is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz (B.A. Political Science) and the University of San Francisco School of Law (J.D.). She is a member of the State Bar of California, and the Bar Association of San Francisco.
Vahishta Falahati
Vahishta Falahati is of counsel to Watson, Hoffe & Hass. Vahishta focuses her practice in real estate law and represents clients in both transactional and litigation matters. She has broad experience advising individuals and business entities on formal litigation matters, as well as effectively and efficiently negotiating settlements and dismissals. Vahishta’s clients include real estate professionals, landlords, tenants, title insurers, escrow holders, institutional lenders, and business entities and owners. She represents individuals and institutional clients in matters involving real estate, complex toxic tort liability, premises liability, construction defect, insurance defense, and general personal injury. Vahishta has held a California Real Estate Broker’s License since 2005. She is a graduate of St. Mary’s College of California (B.A. Philosophy) and the University of San Francisco School of Law (J.D.). She is a member of the State Bar of California and the Contra Costa County Bar Association.
